During the PG Rotary Invitational, several students had outstanding performances, securing medals in various events. Travis Travaille (11) was a standout, winning first place in both the 100m and 200m races. He also earned second place in the long jump, demonstrating his versatility and skill across multiple events. Meredith Evans (12) got 5th place in the 400m for varsity girls earning a medal. Antony Gabrik (11) won first place for the 1600m event. He got second in the 3200m event, and third in the 300m hurdles, winning three medals. The PG Varsity Girls 4x800m relay team won first place; Yeva Yavdash (11), Jordan Lyons (11), Sulu Gurung (11), and Meredith Evans (12) were all part of the team. Helen Hanalla (12) got 4th place in varsity shot put winning a medal. She also took 4th place in discus winning a medal. Trenton Macial (11) got 4th place in varsity high jump winning a medal. Meredith Evans (12) got 4th place winning a medal in high jump as well. Matias De La Garza Zubieta (12) got 5th place in pole vault winning a medal. Yeva Yevdash (11) and Jordan Lyons (11) both got 4th and 5th place in Pole vault winning both medals. Sophia Schulz (11) got 4th place in long jump winning a medal. Trenton Macial (11) got third place in triple jump winning a medal. The PG frosh shot put girls also had a strong showing. Klea Kullolli (9) placed second, while Dylan Llantero (10) took third. Molly Selfridge (10) finished in first place, capping off a great day for the team. The 4×4 relay team, consisting of Sergen Serttunc(10), Kabir Sharma (10), Bethino Zungunze (10), and Joey Grief (10), also claimed first place, showcasing their teamwork and speed. Overall, it was a successful day for PG, with many students taking home well-deserved recognition for their efforts.
