
The PGHS boys golf team is off to a strong start this season, securing a decisive win against York with a final score of 231-241. The match showcased some incredible individual performances, with standout efforts from last year’s all-league honoree, James Lowen. Lowen, building on his impressive accolades from the previous season, was the medalist of the match, carding an outstanding 36 for nine holes. His performance was a key factor in PGHS’s dominant showing. Other players also contributed to the team’s success, with Victor Chavez carding a 45, Nils Bystroem following closely with a 46, and Brody Brosseau finishing with a 49. Santana Perry rounded out the team’s score with a 55, all of whom helped push PGHS to a comfortable 10-stroke victory. The team’s strong start signals promising things ahead, as they look to continue their success throughout the season.
