This year’s Butterfly Parade floats were super-charged with heroism as each class transformed their trailers into scenes inspired by iconic heroes, transforming our town into a comic book come to life.

The freshman class float was coated in red, white, and blue with Captain America standing tall in the center of it all. The float featured patriotic balloons, star-shaped cutouts, and a proud Captain America cutout holding up his shield. The float was full of comic energy, with exciting word-bubbles representing the class’s Homecoming game participants.
The sophomore’s Superman float came with a certain caped hero soaring over Metropolis city, complete with the Daily Planet logo and all. This class’ Homecoming game participants were displayed on the city’s buildings, with bright colors lighting up the buildings and making everything pop.

The junior float swung into action with a hanging Spider Man and a city draped in webs. The names of this class’ Homecoming game participants adorned the towering buildings, with a red-and-blue color scheme adding to the creativity. This float’s imaginative cityscape captured a feel straight out of the comics, bringing Spider Man’s world to life with vibrant detail and extravagant skyscrapers.
The senior class closed it off with Batman, showcasing his crime-plagued city and even his infamous Batmobile. Dark skyscrapers illuminated by yellow lights captured Gotham’s eerie atmosphere, and the senior’s creativity and craftsmanship shined through in the detailed design. Their float left a memorable mark on the parade, and won the float competition.

From Captain America’s bold stance to Superman soaring above the city, this year’s floats were an exciting display of creativity, school spirit, and comic book flare, closing out a fantastic Butterfly Parade!
