Last Friday, the school held its homecoming rally, commissioned by Scarlett Nix and Sulu Gurung. The rally featured spirited performances and team introductions for Fall sports. Robotics kicked off the excitement with their crowd favorite t-shirt launcher, firing up everyone in the stands. Each athletic team entered the gym and shared their achievements so far in the season, as well as goals for the rest of Fall. Cheer and Dance each followed with their own impressive performances, filling the gym with anticipation and energy. Cheer had an exciting routine; they flipped through the air and brought suspense to the crowd. Dance had an enthusiastic performance, when, midway through, students from every grade ran to the middle of the gym, joining in a surprise routine. The Breaker Girls then returned to their partners for a final amazing performance. Between each activity, a couple of students from each grade level participated in fun, competitive games. These included new games like blanket volleyball and wig snatch. Lastly, the homecoming court was announced, with Eleanor Holt and Miles Hoshlyk representing the freshmen, Avery Smith and Christian Adint for the sophomores, and Molly Selfridge and Aidan McFarland for the juniors. The rally came to an end with cheers and excitement for the upcoming football game.
