The 55th Annual Pacific Grove Rotary Invitational Track Meet is set to take place on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at the Pacific Grove High School. For over 50 years, this event has been a highlight for high school athletes from across the region, offering a competitive stage for athletes to test their skills and push their limits. Organized by the Pacific Grove Rotary Club, the meet is not only a celebration of track and field but also a testament to the club’s commitment to supporting local youth and community projects. Over the decades, the event has grown in both size and significance, attracting schools from all over Northern California. The meet features a full slate of track and field events, from sprints and relays to field events like the long jump and shot put. Athletes compete for both personal achievements and team glory, with many pushing themselves to break their own records. Beyond the competition, the event brings together friends, families, and local supporters, all rallying behind the athletes. The Rotary Club’s involvement goes beyond organizing the meet; the funds raised help support scholarships and various local service projects, which directly benefit the community. As it reaches its 55th year, the Pacific Grove Rotary Invitational continues to be a cornerstone of local high school athletics and a testament to the spirit of volunteerism and community. It’s a day that blends competition, tradition, and service, with athletes not just competing for medals, but also helping to carry on a long-standing legacy of giving back.
