Shoe Week, arguably the event that garners the most school spirit throughout the entire year, is upon us. Today, everyone is dressed up in their pajamas in order to put the Padres to sleep. Looking forward to the rest of the week, Tuesday’s spirit day is Barbeque Dads versus Soccer Moms. Wednesday is Generations Day, meaning each grade is a different age category. For instance, freshmen are babies, sophomores are toddlers, juniors are adults, and seniors are senior citizens. On Thursday morning, primarily leadership, but also the entire grade, will wake up and decorate their halls beginning at about 4:30 am. Thursday’s dress up day is rep your hall, in correspondence with the movie chosen by each grade’s leadership positions. Freshmen chose Wreck-it-Ralph, Sophomores picked Frozen, Juniors took Moana, and Seniors selected Alice and Wonderland. Finally on Friday, each grade will wear red and gold to show support for the football team! Also on Friday, Breakers will show their school spirit at the Shoe Rally! The rally will consist of performances from Breaker Girls, the cheer team, band, and Breaker Bots, including a variety of games that many students love, ranging from hungry hippos, balloon pop, dodgeball, and a teacher student game. The Shoe game will be held at MPC beginning at 7:30, so come out and support the football team!
