For students at PGHS, the beginning of the second semester means the return of the annual Winter Ball! The theme is Enchanted Winter Forest, so plan on dressing up in cool tones, shades of blue, or anything with a magical feel to it. The dance is scheduled to take place on January 31, at Pacific Grove’s Chautauqua Hall, which features an indoor dance floor along with a small outside area. The dance will span two and a half hours, starting at 7:30 and ending at 10, so for anyone planning on dancing, consider bringing an extra pair of comfortable shoes! Food and drink will be provided, and if the dance follows trends from previous years, there will most likely be a photo opportunity at the venue. Finally, for anyone interested in taking group pictures before the dance, make sure to grab a spot at Lover’s Point before the sun sets, which will be around 5:30. With all that said, plan accordingly, and enjoy the enchanted atmosphere at this year’s Winter Ball!
